Be baptized. That’s what Jesus said for us to do as we enter into this new life that he made for us and invites us into (Matt. 28:19). We confess with our mouths that, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead in the waters of baptism (Romans 10:9). When we do this we are joining Jesus in his death, burial, and resurrection which frees us from the power of sin and makes us alive to God in Christ (Romans 6:1–14). This new life is for all, so baptism is for all; every man, woman, and child. Whole households!
If you have made a commitment to Christ, but have never received baptism, or if you are ready to make a decision for Christ, we would like you to participate in the baptism service on Easter Sunday, April 21st. For those who have infant baptism we also offer confirmation. Finally, for those who have been baptized but would like to reaffirm their baptism, we do that too. Please speak with Pastor David to make arrangements.
