Word Made Flesh: “See the Lord”
We long to hold onto the familiar. However, Jesus is raised into the new life of God, the unknown. He has been raised from the dead; not to the old life that is ruled by death but to the new life that does not end. He has to ascend to the Father and we have to let him. But, by seeing the resurrected Lord, we have a witness that enables others to see too.
