Our discipleship goal is to see our lives transformed and conformed to the image of Christ. In order to do this, our lives need to be re-patterned by the truth of the gospel. This means we need to be deep readers of Scripture and deep thinkers of God. Christian Education at Northview is a place for us to go deeper than Bible studies, which are helpful things in themselves, to studying Scripture as a whole. So, with Christian Education we are working through whole books of the Bible at a time, or exploring theology, or examining discipleship practices. These skills of reading Scripture deeply, reflecting on them theologically, and seeking to apply them practically are meant to lead to this re-patterning of our lives.
