In August of 2019 Pastor David and Jaylynne joined Bishop Cliff and his wife Karlene on a trip to Sri Lanka for their annual family camp. This is a time of building up the body of believers in Sri Lanka, deepening our congregational ties, and bearing witness to the work that God is doing in Sri Lanka.
In March of 2016 Pastor David accompanied Dan Sheffield to Sri Lanka. The purpose of the trip was for Dan to connect with the Sri Lankan local leadership on some key issues away from the normal ministry time of family camp. David’s main role was to be a dialogue and prayer partner for Dan during these times. In addition, this was David’s first opportunity to ‘get on the ground’ and meet the FMC in Sri Lanka. The goal of the trip for David is to be able to contribute to the ongoing conversation at Northview around our relationship with the FMC in Sri Lanka. Below are the daily reports and reflections of David while on the trip.
