Competing Kingdoms: “Under God”
As important as wisdom is, it cannot become an end to itself. True wisdom leads us to God and brings us under his rule. Solomon, the teacher, tells future generations that we can lose our way trying to simply collect knowledge. So our bedrock must be to fear God and keep his commandments. This alone is a wise life.
