Throughout the story of Esther is the drama of a group of people who were dispersed throughout the 127 provinces but who lived their lives through the lens of a different worldview and whose allegiance was to a different King! How does a minority survive, and is it possible for them to thrive in a cultural context that is so foreign to their hearts and ideals? And what about us, as citizens of the Kingdom of God living in our time and place? In this study we will discover hints, principles, ways and means, to be citizens of the Kingdom—as well as be reminded of the mighty hand of God who ‘turns the tables’ to protect his people and accomplish his will!
