On Mission: Dust Shakers
What does it mean for Northview to embody Jesus in the neighbourhoods of Argyle Park, Englewood and Hawkstone? Quite simply we are to do what Jesus did in his neighbourhoods in the same character that he did it in. We are to announce that the kingdom of God has come and it is open to everyone—we are heralds and inviters. We are also to demonstrate the presence the kingdom by healing the sick, expelling demons, causing the lame to walk, the blind to see, the deaf to hear, and to raise the dead. We are to care for the poor, the orphans, and the widows. Not everyone will be interested in the kingdom, that’s alright we just keep announcing, inviting, caring and healing.
