Prayer Book: “Promised King”
God’s love is God’s faithfulness. God’s faithfulness is God’s keeping his covenant promises to his people. God has promised his people a son of David to sit on David’s throne over Israel and rule with justice and mercy—to bring peace. God shows his love for Israel and the world by sending his Son at just the right time.
