Sources of Illness
All illness results from sin, but not all illness is because of sin, and certainly not all illness is sin. Part of the context for understanding divine healing is to recognize that we have an enemy who is seeking to disrupt, corrupt, and destroy God’s purposes. We can’t attribute everything to the Devil, but we can’t discount his role either. Just as we must reject sin we must reject the Devil as well. Through Jesus we have authority over the Devil and his works.
