When Things Fall Apart: “Integrity in the Face of Suffering”
The God of Scripture is not like the gods of the nations. Those other gods are unpredictable and unknowable. Because of their wayward natures human beings are always grasping in superstitious ways to try to make them happy. Not so with YHWH. He has made himself known and this is the foundation for our trust of him.
