Living In Exile: “Glimpsing Glory”
C. S. Lewis talks about a mistake we all make; we glimpse something in a sunset, for example, or a piece of music and it reminds us of a longing, so we try to ‘get back into it’ and find that it is merely a sunset or merely a piece of music. Mountaintop experiences are transitory and are meant to direct us to Jesus not become an idol.
