Word Made Flesh: “Raising the Dead”
There is little doubt that death is powerful. Anyone who has looked on the body of a loved one who has died has the overwhelming sense that they are ‘gone.’ With that death, the ability to be in relationship no longer endures (this does not deny ongoing love). This is why death is so upsetting and seems undeniable. But there is a power greater than death that has come into the world, who grants new life free from death. Jesus is the resurrection and the life.
